NEW MASTERS

Militant groups
April 15, 1999
Meet your new masters.

There's a new political force at Canada's helm. It's made up of groups who haven't been elected, but that doesn't matter: they're now in charge, and you'd better get used to it. They are the militant homosexuals and the abortionists. They are now running the show.

Learn to live with it. No, that won't be enough: learn to LIKE it. In fact, even that won't be enough. You'd better learn to LOVE it, and to celebrate it. You'd better get on the bandwagon, or the bandwagon will run right over you, and you'll be crushed, like the mayors of London and Fredericton and Nelson were steamrollered. In one of those cases, SILENCE was interpreted by the Human Rights Tribunal -one of those kangaroo courts that are debasing Canadian justice- as "hate". Yes, today in Canada you can be condemned -without a proper trial- for what you DON'T say.

I have a copy of a letter from Alan Rock, written two years ago when he was Justice Minister, promising IN WRITING, when Bill C-33 was rammed through Parliament over the objection of hundreds of thousands of Canadians - promising that it DEFINITELY WILL NOT mean spousal benefits for homosexuals. No.

But in early April, Finance Minister Martin said it will be "a piece of cake" to change the 58 federal laws that stand in the way of full spousal benefits for same-sex couples. And the Minister of Social Services in Premier Ralph Klein's  Alberta has said that when children are placed for adoption or foster-placement with same-sex couples, the authorities will have to tell him within a week why they thought it was in the best interests of the child.

"In the best interests of the child"!?!

Wait, there's more:

Immigration Minister Lucienne Robillard is changing the Immigration Act -by Order-in Council, without consulting Parliament- so that homosexual partners of Canadians can by-pass the immigration process and come in under "family reunification"! Understand this clearly: a man can bring in his homosexual partner as "family" -thus changing the meaning of words like "family", "spouse" and "marriage". A man cannot bring in his best friend, under this new rule, unless he can prove that they're sleeping together; the law says, "a conjugal-like relationship".

Do you want a preview of where this is all going? Look to the south. President Clinton  has decreed that there shall be indoctrination of students, in schools and in universities, to make them accept homosexuality as "normal". No, acceptance is no longer enough: they must APPROVE of homosexuality. Here's an excerpt from his news announcement, with a comment from a pro-family organization:

"(President Clinton) also unveiled a "public-private partnership" with AT&T, Court TV, the Anti-Defamation League, Cable in the Classrooms, the National Middle Schools Association, and the Departments of Education and Justice to "change the mind, the heart, and the habits of our people when they're young -to keep bad things from happening."

Robert H. Knight, of the Family Research Council -an arm of Focus on the Family- says, "President Clinton's plan to invade America's middle schools and colleges with the homosexual agenda under the guise of 'teaching tolerance', shows what 'hate crimes' laws are all about.

"Every citizen deserves equal protection under the law," Mr. Knight continued. "We cannot allow the law to designate less protection for some people than others. But that is what 'hate crime' laws do. And to describe resistance to such unjust laws as a form of 'hate' amounts to a slander of the American people. In discussing his domestic initiative, the president evoked the carnage in foreign countries as an example of how unchecked 'hate' can destroy lives. The message is anything but subtle: support a federal hate crimes law and 'tolerance re-education' for hapless pupils or be complicit in murder.

"To compare a scattered number of tragic criminal incidents in America -three out of nearly 20,000 annual homicides- to genocide in Rwanda is astonishing."

Without citing any evidence, the President further claimed that on college campuses, "we have significant hate crime problems."

"But," you may say, "that's the U.S.; that couldn't happen in Canada."

Let me read you a recent Canadian Press story from Calgary:

University of Calgary professor Ted Morton, in a Calgary Sun column, has exposed yet another plan to indoctrinate youth with pro-homosexual ideology. After listing a myriad of recent successes by homosexual activists to infiltrate the public school system in Canada, Morton describes a recent venture in Calgary: Young people are addressed by homosexual activists, who attempt to quote-"challenge [them] to acknowledge and work towards eliminating their own homophobia." -unquote-

According to Morton, says Canadian Press, students in grade 11 are being taught that "the traditional view that the male-female union is natural or normal is Œheterosexual privilege', and "refusal to acknowledge this is Œhomophobia'."

This stuff is also happening here in Canada, and moving with the speed of an express train.

So what does Alan Rock's letter mean, promising this won't happen? Just another worthless Liberal promise. Just another Liberal LIE. I'm not mincing words now; I said, "LIE." L-I-E. The Liberals tell lies.

Why? Because the Prime Minister has decreed it.

And what do you hear from the Opposition benches? Silence. Deafening silence. Because the Leader of the Opposition has also spoken.

Remember three years ago, when a fellow named Bob Ringma put his foot in his mouth, with a statement that "the boss has the right to tell gays to work in the back of the shop, if it's hurting business to have them  up front." Remember that? And then Dave Chatters said, "But Bob's right." Mr. Manning banished them both from the Reform caucus, and said anyone else who said anything "discriminatory" about gays would be out of the party.  And everyone got obediently in line.

And that's one reason why you hear so little while the homosexual takeover of Canadian public life is going on. Because there's barely a dime's worth of difference between the government and the opposition. That was made clear at the United Alternative meeting. Journalist Tim Bloedow, who was at that meeting, said if you really want to stop the Liberals from wielding 100% of the power with only 38% of the votes, proportional representation would be the answer. Proportional representation is an idea the CHP has been promoting for years. Indeed, Canada and the United States are the only two developed democracies that have not yet adopted some form of proportionality in some part of their voting system.

Proportional representation would mean every vote would get some representation in Parliament, instead of the present system, which is like tearing up 62% of the ballots and saying, "These voters don't count." It would restore democracy, in place of the imperial oligarchy that now runs Canada.

I call it an "imperial" oligarchy, because it is run by a Prime Minister who acts like an Emperor. There are  four power points in Canada's government: the House of Commons, the Senate, the Governor-General, and the Supreme Court. The Prime Minister rules the House of Commons like a fiefdom, controlling the government benches by handing out perks and appointments to obedient MPs; the Prime Minister also appoints Senators; the Prime Minister appoints the Governor-General; and the Prime Minister appoints the Supreme Court justices‹the nine non-elected individuals with the power to overrule our elected legislatures. The Prime Minister of Canada is thus a virtual dictator; no wonder he got along so well with Suharto at APEC.

This same Prime Minister said 14 years ago‹he was quoted by the Globe and Mail: "If ever I am Prime Minister, the first thing I will do is bring in proportional representation." He's half-way through his second mandate as Prime Minister, and what do you see? Evidence that it was just another Liberal lie.

But the Reform Party and its United Alternative do not want to end this kind of unjust government-by-a-minority; they only want to replace the Liberals' oligarchy with their own oligarchy. They want POWER. And they know that power is given by the media to those it favours. So they'll do and say what they think appeals to the media. And the media are overwhelmingly pro-homosexual and pro-abortion.

That's why our nation is being changed before our eyes, without our consent: because the four institutions where decisions are made that affect our lives‹the governments, the public education establishment, the courts and the media‹have all been captured by the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual radicals.

Get used to it. Or get busy and do something about it, while there's still time.

Ontarians are in the midst of an undeclared election campaign. There is only one provincial party in Ontario that is pro-life and pro-family: the Family Coalition Party. If I lived in Ontario, I'd belong to it, I'd support it, and I'd work for it.

Canadians, too, have only one pro-life, pro-family federal political party: the Christian Heritage Party. I belong to it, support it, and work for it. And I will as long as God grants me breath, because the CHP is committed to honour the first sentence in the preamble to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which says, "Canada was established upon principles that recognize the supremacy of God and the rule of law."

I attended the United Alternative meeting, and I proposed that they should honour that part of our Constitution. And they said, "No!", very loudly. Why? Because God isn't popular with the media or the "chattering class"; so honouring God is no way to get their help on the road to power.

But honouring God is the RIGHT thing to do. And it WILL bring blessing to a nation.

Am I worried that the media will mock us because we're Christian? That they'll black us out because we say the nation should honour God and the Constitution? Does that concern me? No. Because I know that, in the end, it is God who raises up governments and puts down governments. When the time is right, if He wants the CHP to govern Canada according to His principles, it will happen. I'm not concerned about gaining favour with the media by granting special privileges to homosexuals and abortionists; I'm not concerned with hurrying the day when this nation will return to its God-fearing roots. I just want to make sure that when the day comes, we're ready.

This nation does have God-fearing roots. We've often done things badly, there have been serious injustices; but on balance, we made a lot of progress, back in the days when we honoured the God of the Bible.

Those roots go deep. They go back to the days when Cartier and Champlain came ashore and planted crosses in the sand. They go back to the Fathers of Confederation, who named the new nation "The Dominion of Canada", and chose as its motto the Latin rendering of "from sea to sea", taking those terms from Psalm 72, verse 8: "He"‹God's Messiah‹"shall have dominion from sea to sea." The Fathers of Confederation  adopted that unanimously.

This heritage was continued by the Parliament that built the Peace Tower, and engraved on its stones three scriptures from the Bible: o Psalm 72, verse one: "Give the king thy judgements, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son." o Psalm 72, verse 8: "He shall have dominion also from sea to seaŠ" and o Proverbs 29, verse 18: "Where there is no vision, the people perish."

How much vision is there in the present government, or in its opposition? Well, how much vision do you think it takes to surrender the nation to sexual perverts‹to agree to approve of virtually anything, just to hold onto the illusion of power? No, there is NO vision in Ottawa today‹and the Canadian people are perishing!

A court in BC recently ruled that it's a pedophile's RIGHT to own child pornography. And this Liberal government won't challenge it!

I warned at that time that the self-appointed intelligentsia would soon begin to defend that ruling. Some readers of our weekly "Co9mmuniqué" mocked that prediction. But read this statement, from a recent issue of the Journal of the American Psychological Association:

The article, titled A Meta-analytic Examination of Assumed Properties of Child Sexual Abuse Using College Samples, was published in the APA Psychological Bulletin ([1998], Vol. 124, No. 1, pp. 22-53). It's by Bruce Rind, an instructor at Temple University; Philip Tromovitch, a graduate student in education at the University of Pennsylvania; and Robert Bauserman, a psychology professor at the University of Michigan.

They examined 59 studies of college students who had been sexually abused. Forty-two percent of the men said they viewed their abuse as "positive"... some said the abuse had a positive influence on their current sex lives.

Significantly, only 11 percent of the abused girls reported that their sexual experiences with an adult was "positive."

Even in their own terms, of course, such numbers are bogus: If 42 percent of abused boys thought their experience was positive, that means 58 percent did not. As for abused girls, 89 percent considered the experience negative.

Such numbers are heavily skewed toward homosexuality. If so many of the men considered their abuse to have been "a positive influence on their current sex lives," this is simply more of the abundant evidence that child molesting turns its victims toward homosexuality.

Mr. Bauserman, one of the authors of that study, also wrote an apologetic for pedophilia in The Journal of Homosexuality, as part of its double issue on "Male Intergenerational Intimacy." (Translation: homosexual child abuse.) In his article, he questioned the "taboo" against "man-boy sexual relationships".

Another article maintained that a man who counseled troubled teenage boys could achieve "miracles not by preaching to them, but by sleeping with them." A loving pedophile, continued the article, can offer "a companionship, security, and protection which neither peers nor parents can provide."

Another article said that parents should look upon the pedophile who molests their sonthey called it "loving" the child"not as a rival or competitor, not as a thief of their property, but as a partner in the boy's upbringing, someone to be welcomed into their home."

Can you believe this stuff?!? Doesn't that make the hair stand up on  your neck? What is wrong with these people?!?

As militant homosexuals make deeper and deeper inroads into academia, the media, and the cultural elite, such sentiments will be more and more common.

I know that by releasing the text of these remarks, I can anticipate one of two reactions: we'll be ignored, because the media just don't want to think about what we have to say; or we'll be accused of "hate".

But that's not true. We in the CHP are NOT motivated by hate. It is not "hate" to warn someone that he's destroying himself; and it is not "love", if someone is dying of a curable illness, to tell him, "You're all right; everyone else should be more like you!"  THAT is real hate; it is, in fact, stupidity; and that is the attitude of the new culture-makers.

One can only marvel at how the mere two per cent of the population that is homosexual exerts such an influence on the culture, while the 70 percent that claims to be Christian‹or even the 30 percent that goes to church every Sunday‹can exert no influence whatsoever.

Why?

Today, influential culture-makers are trying to normalize sex with children, as they did sex outside marriage and homosexuality. This is one reason Christians dare not opt out of the culture wars. If we do, if we let the world go ever deeper into this black hole of depravity, we will be putting our children in real danger.

And make no mistake: that's where Canada is headed‹unless, together, we do something to stop this drift.

This trend shouldn't surprise us: for half a century, our universities have been teaching that there are no absolutes; no "right" and no "wrong". Their students, who later became our high school and elementary teachers, have been teaching that same lie to school children. And our media gatekeepers, who control what is considered "news", and how it is treated, learned it at university, and have been repeating it like a mantra ever since.

But think a minute: if there are no absolutes, then nothing has any meaning at all. Kindness and cruelty are exactly equal; life and death are equal; honesty and dishonesty are equal‹except that dishonesty seems to win more elections. But that's our fault, as voters, isn't it?

Am I preaching "hate" against homosexuals? No, I'm not. But I am insisting that we have the right‹indeed, the obligation to the truth‹to say that homosexuality is wrong‹that it's physically and psychologically unhealthy.

You know, our governments spend millions trying to persuade children not to take up smoking‹a habit which will shorten their lives, on average, by seven years. But those same governments spend more millions‹and they're aided and abetted by the media‹to convince our children to accept as "normal" a lifestyle that will shorten their lives by an average of 32 years.

Does that make any sense?

I'm not critical of any homosexual person. Many, maybe even most homosexuals desperately want to escape from their addiction to unnatural lust. We have a humanitarian duty to help them. But the militant homosexual lobby doesn't want us to. They engineered the 1973 raid on the American Psychiatric Association's San Francisco conference, and using threats that included physical violence, intimidated them into dropping homosexuality from its diagnostic manual‹even though a subsequent survey that included every psychiatrist in North America revealed that more than 60% still consider homosexuality to be a treatable illness.

There's peer-reviewed scientific evidence that homosexuality is an acquired addiction, not an inherent condition. But you don't need to be a scientist to figure it out. Ask yourself this:

If an individual carried a gene which predisposed it to non-reproductive behaviour, how long would that gene persist in the gene pool of that species?

In Dostoevsky's novel The Brothers Karamazov, old Fyodor's son, Ivan, says, "If there is no God, then everything is permitted." And it results in Fyodor's murder when his illegitimate son, Smerdyakov, puts that idea into practice.

This nation has been behaving like Smerdyakov for decades, acting as though there is no God, because we've been ashamed to stand up and say He's real. We're afraid the "sophisticated" people and the media might laugh at us.

C.S. Lewis wrote that when everyone is running madly down the wrong road, the first person to realize their error and turn around is actually in the lead‹no matter how it looks to the crowd.

In Canada, we've been running down the wrong road for half a century, and going faster all the time. Things are getting out of control. Don't you feel it? Our half-baked ideas, our illegitimate policies, like Smerdyakov, are killing us.

There is only a very little time to turn things around. The cost of getting back on track will never be less than it is today; the price will only go up and up‹until one day, the cost will be measured in blood. Our blood.

Folks, we all have to decide NOW: "Choose this day whom you will serve.

"As for me and my house"‹and the Christian Heritage Party, has become for me a significant part of "my house"‹"WE WILL SERVE THE LORD!"

Will you join us?
