DID
YOU KNOW THAT IN CANADA:
...adults
can legally have sex with children as young as 14?
...hardcore
illegal pornography is available on C.R.T.C approved TV channels?
...23,000
pedophile web sites are available on the internet?
...in
our highly permissive country we recently refused to charge 16 members of the
Wonderland Club in Ontario, Quebec and B.C who were identified by U.S
authorities as child pornographers - each prospective member was required to
provide members with 10,000 new sexually-explicit images of children?
Only
in Canada!
What
is happening to our country, "the best country in the world"? What is
happening to our children, our priceless treasure?
Just
take a look at your daily newspaper or TV etc and you are assaulted by
mind-numbing havoc caused by our permissive culture and easy availibility of
pornography. Paul Bernardo, Clifford Olsen and Ted Bundy are some of the
monsters created by the insidious pornography industry.
Exploitive
sexual images have permeated our society, our entertainment and our advertising.
Sex has become our idol.
The
results are devastating:
Children
are damaged and broken in spirit. Women debased and treated as mere objects. Men
enticed into porn addiction. Marriages destroyed. Families torn apart. Pure
love, chastity, abstinence, marriage, and Godly virtues ridiculed. Teen
pregnancies, abortions, sexually-transmitted diseases keep going up and up.
Sexual violence glorified. Children turning on children - with increasing
ferocity. It is sickening and sad. God help us.
Concerned
citizens are trying to do something about it. But we need your help. White
Ribbons Against Pornography (WRAP) is kicking off a national campaign across
Canada from October 21 to 28. It is co-ordinated by CASE (Canadians Addressing
Sexual Exploitation). Also, there is a parallel campaign to raise the age of
consent to 18, conducted by Canada Family Action Coalition (CFAC). We have
displays, brochures and ribbons to wear available at local libraries.
Kindly
avail yourself of the services, literature, the ribbons et al and become an
informed citizen.
Then
please send your ribbon to your M.P c/o House of Commons, Ottawa ON K1A OA6
(postage free) and write a brief letter expressing your concerns.
Please
make sure to urge your MP to raise the age of consent from the current
irresponsible 14 to 18, and mention the fact that Canadians do not vote, consume
alcohol, fight wars or engage in other adult activities legally until age 18.
Sexual activity is an adult activity with adult consequences including disease
and pregnancy.
Thank
you.
Yours
sincerely,
